WordPress and WooCommerce

I build, improve, and maintain WordPress and WooCommerce systems that need practical content management, a stable commerce flow, and a clear technical routine.

A foundation shaped around content

I fit the theme and components to the content model. Custom themes, Gutenberg blocks, and editor constraints let you update pages independently or with your team without accidentally breaking their structure.

Before development, I review content types, user roles, integrations, and essential plugins. A smaller, deliberate plugin set reduces conflict risk and makes future upgrades easier to reason about.

Performance and security

Performance work runs from server response to the final browser render. I tune page and object caching, inspect queries, trim fonts, CSS, and JavaScript, then select suitable image formats, sizes, and lazy-loading behaviour.

Core Web Vitals provide an ongoing view of performance rather than a one-off score. Hardening covers permissions, a reduced administration surface, controlled patching, useful logs, and verified restoration from backups.

The WooCommerce journey

An online shop depends on the complete flow from catalogue discovery to order status. I work with product models, variations, filters, cart and checkout behaviour, taxes, and shipping rules.

Payment integrations follow the provider's technical requirements and sandbox process. Testing also covers declined payments, notifications, stock changes, and administrative handling, not only the successful purchase.

Migrations and ongoing maintenance

A migration begins with an inventory of content, URLs, users, orders, and external connections. I prepare a staging copy, plan the cutover, verify redirects, and move the live system only after the route has been rehearsed.

I provide ongoing maintenance through an agreed procedure: scheduled backups, an update window, change review, monitoring, and a periodic health summary. I provide this care remotely across Lithuania.

When this fits

  • Editors need flexible publishing with sensible structural controls.
  • An existing site is slow, unstable, or burdened by overlapping plugins.
  • A WooCommerce catalogue, checkout, or connected service is causing friction.
  • A website, shop, or hosting environment needs a controlled migration.
  • Updates and backups currently happen without a repeatable process.

What you get

  • A tailored theme, blocks, or focused improvements for the current system.
  • A recorded performance and security baseline with ordered priorities.
  • A tested routine for backups, updates, and operational monitoring.
  • WooCommerce checks based on realistic order and exception scenarios.
  • Technical notes and clear actions for continued ownership.
